Geography - SOC110
The goal of World Geography is to become a knowledgeable global citizen. Students will explore the many aspects of geography; cultural, political, economic, and spatial. They will investigate historical events regarding conflicts, exploration, and revolution to determine how geography influenced the outcomes. While discussing important issues of our time, such as climate, technology, and health, students will employ research skills, data analysis, problem-solving, and critical thinking. World Geography opens the door for us to look outside of our community and gain a worldly perspective.
