Using knowledge from Spanish I, students will continue to build skills in listening, reading, writing, and speaking Spanish in this online high school Spanish 2 course. They will compare the Spanish language to their own language and be exposed to cultures of Spanish speaking countries. Students will continue to build on their vocabulary skills set to express and describe themselves and their world. They will communicate information about family members, clothing, rooms in their home, ideal vacations, and daily routines. Students will also learn how to order food in a Spanish speaking restaurant and how to use the Spanish past tenses to talk about their childhood. They will also write scripts/short stories in Spanish and record themselves speaking the language. Emphasis will be placed on using correct vocabulary and grammar throughout the online high school Spanish 2 course.
