Help With Homeschooling

Many parents are choosing to homeschool their children rather than sending them to school.  It makes parents feel good having more involvement in their children’s studies and curriculum.

The American Academy is an accredited online high school and they are determined to make homeschooling easier for both you and your children.  The American Academy allows your student to take online high school classes which let you relax and feel confident that your children are receiving a great education.  Every course that The American Academy offers is backed and monitored by a licensed teacher.

There are a few different programs for you and your student.  You can have as much teaching responsibility or as little as you would like.

• Take Individual Classes
  • Enroll in individual courses to help compliment your own teaching by adding a course or two.
• Bundled Classes
  • Take all of math and science classes through The American Academy so that you don’t have that challenge on your hands.  Most of us struggled through math and science when we went through high school and we’re still a little scared of it.  Let The American Academy worry about that from now on and you can teach the courses that make more sense to you.
• Diploma Programs
  • You can take an entire year’s worth of high school credits and work towards their high school diploma.  This will allow you to help your student choose which courses they want to take but you won’t have to sit and teach them yourself.

One of the biggest benefits to homeschooling your children is that you will have more say in how hard your children are pushed, what they’re taught, and how much attention they receive and many times homeschool children are harder workers and better prepared for college than their peers because of this.
