      In this course, students will learn about mechanics, wave properties, simple harmonic motion, thermodynamics, electromagnetism, and nuclear physics. Students will use kinematic equations for linear and projectile motion, as well as calculate work, power, energy, force, and momentum. Students will study the motion of objects in space to describe circular motion and gravitation. Students will identify and describe the relationship between electric and magnetic fields through observation, data collection, and analysis. By the end of this course, students will be able to distinguish between fission and fusion and describe the processes of radioactive decay.
